A few weeks ago, we told you about the nominations for the Columbia Daily Tribune Women in Business Awards. The winners were announced today, and we’re pleased to congratulate three outstanding women in the Columbia business community on their wins.
[/caption]Cindy Mustard won for Professional Excellence. Anyone that knows Cindy knows just how big her heart is, and after more than two decades of running the Voluntary Action Center, she’s readying for a well-deserved retirement. Cindy has been a cornerstone of the non-profit community in Columbia for years and has set an example of what giving back to the community and being a source of hope for the less fortunate is all about. We couldn’t be prouder of or happier for Cindy.

Anne owns and operates AnnaBelle Events & Rentals which provides turn-key event planning services for corporate and civic clients as well as those celebrating everyday life events. Anne is as homegrown as they come, graduating from Columbia College in 2008 and working at a few places around Mid-Missouri before opening AnnaBelle in October of last year. We can’t wait to see what else Anne will accomplish in her career. Congratulations Anne!

The determination to start two companies with her husband and grow those into successful enterprises certainly deserves to be recognized, she even made sure to use the best tools from the beginning, including the best enterprise content management program. We’re pleased Michele got that recognition today!
