#FollowFriday: Mizzou Hoops
We all know Mizzou hoops had the potential to have a really special season as early as last summer. A #2 ranking and only two losses with February beginning soon is more than anyone was dreaming of though. This season has been an absolute thrill ride, and it’s only going to get better with both Kansas games still on the horizon and the Big 12 tournament to end the regular season in Kansas City. How’s a Tiger fan to keep up with everything? Glad you asked.
Dave Reiter – Dave is the Sports Information Director for the men’s basketball team. In other words, he’s the guy the media gets their information from. Not only does Dave hold the keys to all the information you desire about Mizzou Basketball; he’s a really great guy too. You’ll find value in his tweets beyond stats and scores.
Steve Walentik - Steve is the Mizzou men’s basketball beat reporter for the Columbia Daily Tribune. You want the stats and scores broken down? Meaning brought to your Tiger basketball fever? Steve’s your guy.
Mike Kelly - The Voice of the Tigers. not a whole lot more needs to be said about this guy.
Mike DeArmond - Mike is the Mizzou beat writer for the Kansas City Star. He’s been around slightly longer than the game of basketball. He’s also an absolute bulldog of a reporter and terrific source of information.
KTGR – The lone radio station in Columbia completely dedicated to sports is a must follow. Debate, information, and interaction.
Eric Blumberg - Eric is one half of the KOMU power team (the other being Chris Gervino) and one of the best sources of Mizzou information on Twitter. A wonderful follow and source of Mizzou information.
There’s plenty of other Mizzou sources to be found, and those can be found via these five sources. So, what’s your favorite Mizzou follow? Who’d we miss?
