It’s a collection of all the disciplines embodied in a traditional agency, but without the traditional bricks, mortar, departments and (not unimportantly) the overhead.
In the traditional agency, an in-house staff of marketing and creative personnel works on every project regardless of their individual strengths and interests. At Caledon Virtual there is no in-house staff. Instead, we maintain an on-call roster of artists, photographers, copywriters, designers and programmers.
With each new client, we customize a marketing/creative team by selecting from that roster those individuals who are best equipped to solve the specific problems at hand.
Each team works under the direction of Caledon Virtual’s Consulting Director J. Michael Roach and ten-year advertising veteran Nelly Roach coordinates input from the various sources and keeps projects on schedule and on budget.
Nelly Roach is the calm in the eye of the creative storm at Caledon Virtual. She is the emissary between the client and and the various strategic, creative, and technical resources that make up each individual team. A sharp listener, Nelly conveys campaign strategies and project guidelines to the team ensuring that each participant hears one voice and receives one set of instructions, eliminating costly and time-consuming false starts and wheel spinning.
Drawing from a wide background of skills and experience including a career of administrative and technical positions at area software publisher DATASTORM, Nelly effortlessly and seamlessly oversees client communications, project management and marketing strategies.
J. Michael Roach serves as Caledon Virtual's Consulting Director. Prior to Caledon he was founder and president of IDPgroup, a Columbia-based advertising and marketing agency. He has been developing successful branding campaigns, web sites and other marketing communications since 1994.
Michael is also a down-to-earth problem solver who thrives on concept and strategy development – the bedrock of all successful marketing campaigns. In addition to his duties as Consulting Director, Michael serves as the brand manager for Battenfeld Technologies, an outdoor product design and engineering firm, and recently completed his terms as the President of the Mid-Missouri chapter of the American Advertising Federation.
